Mylswamy Annadurai is a scientist in Indian Space Research Organization and currently serves as Director, ISRO Satellite Centre(ISAC), Bangalore. Prior to that, he was working as Programme Director for IRS&SSS (Indian Remote Sensing & Small, Science and Student Satellites) that include Chandrayaan-1, Chandrayaan-2, ASTROSAT, Aditya-1, Mars Orbiter Mission and many Indian Remote Sensing missions. Annadurai was listed among 100 Global thinkers of 2014 and tops the innovators list. He has bagged more than fifty national and international prizes.He was awarded honorary doctorates from several universities and was the recipient of numerous awards. Apart from his scientific work, he has got fervor on tamil language.He is honorary author of ‘valarum ariviyal’ magazine. He is proficient in both languages tamil and English, good orator, poet,Essay writer and more over best human being whose heart is filled with humanity. During his holidays, Annadurai tours across the country to meet and interact with the students to encourage them to study science. Annadurai writes a regular column, "Kaiyaruge Sevvai". ("Mars is at our Reach") in the Tamil Daily Dina Thanthi. School students like to read his book namely ‘Kayyaruge Nila’ and the poem ‘Arasu palli paazalla Annai Thamizum paazalla’. ‘kayyaruge nila’ is the book consists of his younger days, education, and the experiences of space research. Annadurai and his works are mentioned in 10th standard Science Text Book of Tamil Nadu.
