Jambazar Market in Thiruvallikeni is a very important center of Chennai. It was a flagship fish market about thirty years ago, but even though it looks ordinary these days, its history is about one hundred and fifty years long. Lakhs of people have been living here and are still living there. I have tried to capture all their passions, feelings, and anger in this first collection of short stories!!! Its fishy smell lingers in the mind of the reader for a long time, I said it as a stench, in its old Tamil meaning!!!
